What a Success story JC has!!! He has been such a delight to have at Barbourville Health and Rehab! We sure are going to miss his positive attitude!
Our therapy success story for April is Mr. JC Wilder. JC came to the facility for short term rehabilitation after a hospital stay resulting in decline in selfcare, functional endurance, mobility, and safety awareness with all task. JC presented with great difficulty with steps and said he had to climb 3 to get into his home. JC was extremely motivated during his sessions which included challenges in all areas to ensure that he was prepared and safe to return back to his home and live independently.
Upon his discharge JC was very thankful and complementary regarding the care he had received from therapy and all departments of the facility. He loved the food and stated that he hopes to have many more years at home, but when the time comes to move into a long term care facility that he will return to Barbourville.
