Our September therapy resident of the month is Mr. Estel Golden. Estel is a long-term resident of the facility who walks around numerous times each day to ensure that everyone is doing well. Estel had a recent fall that resulted in him having decreased mobility in his upper extremities leaving him unable to use his walker. We still got to see his smiling face making rounds but he was wheelchair dependent. Estel worked very hard throughout his therapy sessions and overcame his fear of falling, regained his strength and has now returned to walking around the facility again! We are so proud of his progress! Way to go Estel and our Rockstar Therapy team!!?
